<image:caption>Hi, I’m Rebecca. Once upon a time, I was a teacher and I am currently a licensed psychologist and credentialed school psychologist. I have been working with kids since 2004 and have observed that sources of stress for many can be traced back to gaps in their ability to communicate their needs and cope with challenge. The mission of Growth Psychology is to use best practices in applied psychology to close the gap between where young people are and where they want to be in their lives. In therapy, we work to develop adaptive skills and behaviors and then discuss how and when to use them outside of session. Supports like family therapy and school consultation are available to help adults promote and reinforce youth for using what they are learning in therapy in the real world.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Changes in behavior and perspective that take place in individual therapy may need the support of caring adults in order to foster and support change outside of therapy. For this reason, Growth Psychology also offers family therapy sessions, as well as consultation to help individuals and families advocate for support within school settings.</image:caption>
